Okay, I guess I have to have this rant just so I don't blow-up at someone. I think I have made it clear that I am not what people would call a conservative or a liberal, but I made a comment about the shooting in Northern California the other day and people went off saying guns need to be outlawed and all the normal rhetoric. I can deal with that that is going to happen because people are opinionated and many feel that their opinions are the only valid ones. However, now that this has played out more what I find interesting is what was discovered about the weapons he used in this 'spree'... "The shooter illegally manufactured guns he used Tuesday, officials said. Handguns police recovered were not registered to him" (CNN). Now isn't that interesting. You are going to take guns from people but anyone with half a brain can checkout a library book on how to make one and how to make the bullets. It is not Nuclear Physics. It is not the guns that need to go it is a better approach to letting them be out there. People need to be progressive, proactive, and come up with valid complaints and also valid and feasible solutions.
